J.T. Hardy

J.T. Hardy is a Founding Partner of the Secure Content Group.

Most recently he supported the strategic security consulting and product development efforts as Senior Principal of the AMS Enterprise Security Group. He was the Program Manager and key contributor for the effort to design a trust model for the real estate industry which included the development of the strategic vision, requirements, and industry information security guidelines.

As a co-founder and Senior Vice President of Distribution and Consulting Services for GeoTrust Inc., a commercial certificate authority and second leading provider of digital server certificates worldwide, he led the revenue generation and professional services efforts for the company. Mr. Hardy led the development of business opportunities spanning the commercial, federal and international sectors.

Mr. Hardy also held positions as VP of Professional Services for Xcert, the leading provider of web based PKI software prior to their acquisition by RSA Inc., where he consulted with RSA in their new venture group. He also served as VP Industry Services and PKI Sales for Equifax Secure that provided managed certificate authority services for several Fortune 500 corporations. Mr. Hardy was instrumental in the acquisition of Equifax Secure by GeoTrust.

Mr. Hardy has spent over 23 years in the information technology industry in various sales, marketing, and professional services positions. His experience includes leading teams responsible for solving, selling and implementing solutions in large-scale information technology environments across multiple industries and in companies including IBM and Tandem Computers.

Mr. Hardy holds a BS from the United States Naval Academy. He held the rank of Commander in the US Naval Reserve. He has participated in many military and business related management, technology and professional courses of study throughout his career. Presently, he is studying at Trinity Theological Seminary.
