Executive Team

Jack Horton

Jack Horton is a Founder and the Managing Partner of the Secure Content Group.

Most recently he served as Senior Principal of AMS Enterprise Security Group leading the effort to design a digital trust model for the real estate industry including strategic evaluation, requirements analysis and practices development.

As VP Enterprise Trust for GeoTrust, the second largest Certificate Authority (CA) he provided information security services for major industry trade organizations, Fortune 500 corporations and many US government civilian, defense and intelligence agencies.

Mr. Horton was SVP Market Development for Equifax Secure where he was responsible for developing a public key infrastructure (PKI) application service (ASP). Mr. Horton led the effort to define and develop a range of authentication, certificate management and directory services utilizing commercial and proprietary technologies. He also directed the marketing, sales, and deployment of innovative digital trust models for major corporate accounts such as IBM, eBay, Security First National Bank, and Equifax.

Mr. Horton was the CEO of GetActive Software, the leader in member relationship management software for major non- profit organizations. He also created the Interactive Services Practice at Booz"Allen & Hamilton that defined and developed network services for vertical markets and major retailers.

Mr. Horton spent 18 years in marketing, sales, operations, and development with IBM. In 1988, he was named Director of Federal Market Operations responsible for IBM's largest customer, the U.S. Federal Government.

Mr. Horton holds a BA in economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has participated in executive education programs at Harvard University, IBM's Advanced Management Institute, the Brookings Institution, the Darden School of Management at the University of Virginia, and the Aspen Institute's Center for Communications and Society.
